About Climate Action PAC

The fact that New York State must do more to fight climate change is without question. The only question now is whether we can count on our elected officials to confront this challenge head-on.

Climate Action PAC is committed to electing politicians who will not only talk the talk, but put our tax dollars, laws and political capital to work to combat global warming. That means making a serious investment in alternative energy, cutting greenhouse gas emissions and taking better care of New York’s natural resources. That means shaping and implementing aggressive climate change policies on the state, county and local levels. And that means substantive action now.

Climate Action PAC offers direct campaign support and independent expenditures to help elect politicians who have demonstrated their passion and ability to implement effective environmental change. Once they are elected, we also hold politicians accountable for their action — or inaction — where it matters most: at the polling booth.

When we endorse a “green” candidate, we need financial and volunteer support to back it up . and that’s where you come in. Sign the petition, make a donation, host a house party, or just keep in the know about who’s solving the climate crisis and who you should vote for to get the job done. Because when it comes to global warming, every minute is a chance for New York’s elected officials to act. As your environmental political voice, we’ll make the sure the call to political action is as strong as the chorus of concern.
