As you are reading this, New York’s climate is getting warmer and things will get worse before they get better – especially if we don’t act right now. A lot of people talk about the need for leadership on the federal level, but the enormity of the problem requires a set of comprehensive solutions at every level of government. In fact, states like California and Oregon and municipalities like New York City have been taking the lead on environmental issues, often before the federal government gets into the game.

The kind of broad, sweeping change we need is beyond the scope of us as individuals. That’s why the Climate Action PAC was created, to help elect politicians who will not only talk the talk but also put our tax dollars and laws to work to solve this looming crisis.
