What Information We Collect on This Website
We collect only information that you choose to share with us — this may include your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information (if you choose to make a donation online).
What We Do With That Information
Any information collected on this website is for the use of the New York League of Conservation Voters family of organizations, in order to communicate with our members and online activists. We do not rent or sell our donor mailing list, but may exchange names and addresses with other like-minded organizations. All of our communications have an unsubscribe button. Please use this button to unsubscribe if you wish to no longer receive correspondence from us.
Contributions
Under New York election law, we are required to make periodic filings that provide the New York State Board of Elections with information on each contributor. For more information on the New York State Board of Elections, please visit http://www.elections.state.ny.us.
“Forward To A Friend” Feature
Climate Action PAC makes it easy for you to spread the word about us with its “Forward To A Friend” feature. When you use this feature, the addresses of those you are communicating with are not added to our lists and they will not be contacted by the campaign unless they actually come to the site and register themselves.
IP Addresses and Log File Data
IP addresses are the location of your computer or network on the Internet. We log them for troubleshooting purposes, and to track which pages people visit in order to improve the quality of the site. We do not use the information to develop individual profiles.
